NTL runs courses in translation for publishers and collaborates with a number of Italian universities, offering job orientation and practical work experience.

In 2001 the company ran the “incubation” phase (200 hours) of the fourth Protr@d course organized by the SETL – Scuola Europea di Traduzione Letteraria (European School of Literary Translation)

Since 2003 it has offered job orientation and training modules (250 hours) to the Universities of Florence and Pisa.

In 2006 NTL started organizing translation courses in Tuscany for people interested in working in the publishing world. At their discretion, universities may award credits for these courses.

Since October 2008 NTL has extended its teaching services, organizing seminars in translation into English and German. Given by native-speaking professional translators, these seminars aim to meet the requirements of students and would-be translators.
